Team Dempsey

Jackson joined Dempsey Construction in 2023 as a Project Engineer and quickly advanced through project management before transitioning to the field team. Originally from Nebraska, he attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, studying Global Studies, National Security Studies, and Arabic. Prior to his academic career, Jackson served several years in the U.S. Marine Corps, concluding his service as an Executive Officer leading a team of 185 personnel. As an Assistant Superintendent, Jackson supports the Superintendent in overseeing all on-site construction activities for commercial projects. He helps ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while serving as a key liaison between field crews, subcontractors, project managers, and owners. His role is essential in coordinating daily operations and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety on the job site.

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, Jaime’s responsibilities include estimating, assisting the design of new projects, training of new project team members, managing subcontractors in the preconstruction process and preliminary project scheduling. Jaime graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction, she has been with Dempsey with 4 years with previous experience working for a large general contractor for 12 years. Jaime enjoys the entire development process from napkin ideas to the finished product. In her spare time, Jaime enjoys going to the beach, traveling with her husband or hanging with her kids.

Jaime Orozco joined Dempsey Construction in 2023 and is currently a member of the Field Operations team.

Jason brings decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry, having begun his career at the age of 15 working alongside his father. Throughout his career, he has been shaped and inspired by the many mentors he’s had, including his father and the supervisors he has worked with along the way. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his son on desert trips, camping at the beach or in the mountains, riding motorcycles, and paddle boarding.

Jason joined Dempsey Construction in 2026 as a Project Engineer. He grew up in San Clemente, California, and earned his degree from Colorado State University, where he studied International Studies and minored in Mandarin. Prior to joining Dempsey, Jason worked as a Technical Engineer for a mobile surveillance systems company and later spent a year in the Navy’s special operations training pipeline. His diverse technical and leadership experience supports his role in project coordination and field operations. Outside of work, Jason enjoys working out, playing pickleball, exploring new restaurants, and reading. He is currently learning to play the piano and volunteers with 4th and 5th graders at his church on weekends.

Jennifer Hankins joined Dempsey Construction in 2023 as a Subcontracts Payable Assistant. A Southern California native, Jennifer recently went back to college to develop herself further, and in her free time, her hobbies include spending time with her son, hiking, golfing, working out, going to the beach, and going out dancing with friends.

As Vice President of Field Operations, Jim oversees all field employees and provides guidance, and logistical support to Superintendents and Foremen on Dempsey Construction projects. Jim has been in the construction industry for 32 years, joining Dempsey Construction in 2014. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to build and oversee many interesting and diverse projects. Jim is inspired by young, talented people that set goals and want to reach them in this field. Jim has always had good mentors while growing in his career and he prides himself in being that same mentor to others. Jim likes to spend time with his wife and two children. He finds great joy watching his daughter perform synchronized swimming and his son race mountain bikes.

With over four decades of experience in construction and field supervision, Joe brings exceptional expertise in project coordination, workforce scheduling, and the timely delivery of both large-scale and smaller projects. Joe is known for his proactive involvement during the design phase, offering valuable insights in value engineering, constructability reviews, phasing strategies, systems integration, and site logistics. During construction, Joe maintains a full-time presence on-site, overseeing field operations, ensuring strict adherence to contract documents, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and the local community.

Joe Gielczyk joined Dempsey Construction as a Superintendent in 2014.
