Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University, Chris Brown serves as a Superintendent for Dempsey Construction. Previously working at Turner Construction Company, Brown has a background in overall management of field operations, development of project schedules, budgeting, coordinating field operations with subcontracts, drawings, and specifications, and mitigating and identifying project risks. Chris has proficiency in managing large projects reaching up to 300 million dollars, pushing him to continuously work at a high level in project problem-solving in private, public, federal, and education buildings. He has experience leading and supervising other superintendents and staff, especially surrounding the completion of performance appraisals, buyouts and procurement, and identification of critical path thinking. As a superintendent, Brown has direct responsibility for job site supervision of subcontractors and their crews, ordering and controlling material and equipment, job scheduling and labor cost controls, coordination and scheduling of city and county agencies, as well as overall coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors.

Chris Cardon joined Dempsey Construction in 2015 and has worked his way up to Superintendent. Over his career, Chris has worked on several project types, including retail developments, educational facilities, multi-family housing, office buildings, prefabricated buildings, and automotive dealerships. Chris has been in the commercial construction industry for nearly 20 years. Before joining Dempsey Construction, Chris worked for several larger general contractors. As a Superintendent, Chris has direct responsibility for job site supervision of craft foremen and crews, estimating, material and equipment management, job scheduling, budget coordination, maintaining labor cost controls, coordination with city and county agencies, and coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors.

Cliff Davies Superintendent

Cliff Davies is a Superintendent and has worked in the construction industry for 10 years. Davies worked as a Sergeant of Marines with over 5 years of dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16. He proficiently served as Production Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, overseeing up to 15 subordinate Marines in repairing and maintaining avionic components for flight operations. Cliff conducted inspections to ensure compliance with NAMP standards for avionic equipment by earning a second Occupational Specialty as a QAR. While earning military honors, Davies received a Combat Meritorious Non-Commission Officer Promotion for actions during Operational Iraqi Freedom, multiple Navy Unit Commendation Medals for outstanding performance, and an Individual Navy Certificate of Commendation for superior performance. Cliff graduated from San Diego State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s science degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited). As a superintendent, Cliff is directly responsible for job site supervision of subcontractors and their crews, ordering and controlling material and equipment, job scheduling and labor cost controls, coordination and scheduling of city and county agencies, and overall coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors.

Specializing in large-scale and vertical projects, he also has extensive experience in mission critical facilities. He enjoys setting up processes to make complicated projects easier, more organized and enjoyable. Success to Clint is energizing his team that is as excited to work on a project as he is, while delivering a successful build to the client. Clint holds LEED AP, OSHA 30, and Journeyman Carpenter certifications. He currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife and in his spare time, he enjoys bike riding and hiking.

Daniel is a seasoned construction veteran with nearly15 years of experience in commercial construction. Daniel began his career in 2010, where he worked on a wide variety of projects that allowed him to gain overlapping skills in carpentry and foreman duties. Through experience and hard work, Daniel worked his way up from Foreman to Superintendent. Daniel adds value to each job as he brings proven experience across a diverse cross-section of the building industry. Daniel has worked on a wide variety of projects in his career, ranging from the ground-up and renovated retail centers as well to multiple market commercial tenant improvements. Daniel has also effectively managed his teams on his job sites.

As Dempsey’s Controller, Darla maintains office operations, procedures and processes, payroll and health insurance, including overseeing administrative and accounting staff. Darla has been with the company for twelve years. Prior to that, she spent 12 years as an executive assistant to John Dempsey at a previous company. Darla genuinely enjoys her role as the Controller because she enjoys getting to help each and every employee on the Dempsey team. Whether it is a simple task or something complex, she loves helping people get their issues solved! In her spare time, Darla enjoys watching her daughter play softball, spending time with her family and four grandchildren.
