Rani El-Djoundi joins Dempsey Construction as Senior Director of Market Development

Rani brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience, with an extensive background in business development, client relations, preconstruction, and strategic growth throughout Southern California. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles with Hensel Phelps, Kitchell, W.E. O’Neil Construction, and Gray Construction, developing strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, consultants, and other industry partners throughout Orange County and Los Angeles.

Some notable projects Rani has contributed to during his career include the Terminal 5 Renovation & Reconstruction and Concourse 0 at LAX, the UC San Diego P3 Healthcare Facility, CSU San Marcos elevator additions, Paloma, a 400-unit multifamily development in Santa Ana, and renovation projects for NBCUniversal.

Rani will work closely with our Business Development team, leveraging his extensive relationships throughout Orange County and Los Angeles to strengthen existing partnerships, develop new opportunities, and further expand Dempsey’s presence in these markets.
