Building Convenience: Pauma Heritage Quikstop

Dempsey Construction partnered with the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians to build the 12,000-square-foot Pauma Heritage Quikstop, a ground-up travel center in Pauma Valley. The team developed a modern gas station, convenience store, and travel center to serve local residents and travelers throughout North San Diego County.

They designed the facility as a convenient, all-in-one destination for fuel, food, and everyday essentials. The project features a full-service convenience store and fresh market, high-quality fuel stations, and a drive-through Starbucks to meet the growing demand for gas stations that offer food and coffee along a key travel route.

To commemorate the opening, the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians hosted a ribbon cutting and soft opening for the Pauma Heritage Quikstop on Monday morning, March 13, 2026.
